I am just off on a business trip to Maine. I have never stayed there before and so was not sure which of the Maine hotels would be the most suitable for me. I think that I may just go for a popular hotel chain and then I will know the sort of thing to expect I hope that there will be one fairly close to where I am working. However, a work colleague always stays at a certain one and says that it is really good because the staffs are so nice. I am torn because that one is quite far away from the place that I will need to go to and that means I will have to get up earlier or eat my breakfast more quickly – none of which I like doing. It is nice to take advantage of being in a hotel and taste all of the food on offer and fill up on it a bit. I think I will just search for hotels in Maine on line and see what comes up and then look for one close to my destination. I am sure that there will be something out there which will suit my criteria and be within the company’s budget. I hope so anyway!

My local shoe shop is having a great shoe sale which starts when it opens tomorrow and I am really excited about getting some good bargains. I know all of their womens winter boots will be reduced because we are moving into the summer season and I hope to get a pair in ready for next winter. Last time they had a sale their womens ankle boots were half price and so I am hoping that they may have a similar offer this time as well. I am lucky that my shoe size is small and so they tend to have pairs left in my size, if I was a more common size then I would be unlikely to find anything. I am also looking for a new pair of women’s shoes to wear for work and I know that they have some great styles which would be suitable and I am hoping they may have reduced some of these as well. I am getting really excited about the sale now and although I will not be camping outside the shop tonight I am sure I will be the first queuing outside the door tomorrow and I just cannot wait!

I am just about to start promoting my new business and have been looking for some promotional items to help me. You see I will be handing out leaflets and I thought that it might be good to hand out something useful as well. I think that it needs to be something that people will want to hold on to and will use so something like a promotional USB would be good. However, it needs to be relevant to my business and I am finding it tricky thinking of any promotional products that are. However, I have managed to find a huge catalogue for a big company and so I will be looking through that over the weekend to get some ideas and hopefully I will be inspired and find the answer to my problem. I just hope also that it is not too expensive because my advertising budget is pretty small as I am new business. The things are cheaper if you buy in bulk but I am not sure how may I will need, which is also pretty tricky to decide on as I do not want lots left as they are just money sitting in a box otherwise. It is a hard decision.
